THE much publicised heart surgeon, Dr Wouter Basson, often more talked about for his role in biological and chemical warfare, will be in Paarl as guest speaker at a fundraising dinner on Saturday 25 February.
The gentlemen’s evening is being held at 19:00 at the acclaimed Pontac Manor in Pontac Street, Paarl.
A scrumptious dinner with free wine will be followed by an auction with items such as diamonds worth R12 000, a Tag Heuer watch valued at R25 000 as well as accommodation at the Lanzerac at Stellenbosch, Pontac and the Kagga Kamma nature reserve.
Tickets for the evening at Pontac Manor, at R500 each, can be booked by phoning M’Lani at 083 604 4037. Group bookings are accepted, while individual guests will be placed with fellow diners. All proceeds go to Amado, the non-profit animal assisted riding centre for physically disabled and traumatised children in Paarl.
