Home / Foreign films on Fridays in Klapmuts

EVERY last Friday of the month is dubbed Foreign Film Friday at Le Bonheur winery outside Klapmuts.

The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, a 1972 surrealist French film directed by Luis Buuel and written by Jean-Claude Carrière in collaboration with the director, will be screened on February 24 at 18:30.

South Africa’s literary heritage will be celebrated on March 30 with a showing of the 2007 documentary by Mozambique-born South African film and documentary maker Helena Nogueira, called Ingrid Jonker: her Lives and Time.

The cost is R125 per person and includes the film, a hearty traditional meal and delicious Le Bonheur wine (or R55 for only the film and wine). Booking is essential.
