Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, SPCA for short – and as our name implies, we aim to prevent animal abuse.

It’s a worthy aim – one that’s achieved every day. But the reality is, much of our resources are also spent on dealing with cruelty, in many forms.

We don’t turn any animal away. No matter what the breed, condition, age or reason for animals being brought to the SPCA, we’re here for them, day and night.

And we’re on call 24/7 to respond to rescues and emergencies involving animals.
