THERE are just three weeks to go, before the entries for the first round of the Paarl Post summer pic competition for readers closes.

In co-operation with Kodak Express Superfoto, Paarl Post with the aim to encourage everyone - young and old - to start clicking away. So enter now to win a brand new camera.

Readers are invited to enter their photographs of nature, children, pets or action with a summer theme.

Every week from the end of April, three photos will be chosen by an independent panel of judges, and published. Readers can vote by SMS for their favourite picture.

At the end of the competition, the finalists will be published, after which readers can once again SMS their votes to decide the top three photographs.

The first prize winner receives a Canon Powershot SX 150 IS camera to the value of R1899.

The second prize is a Kodak M532 camera to the value of R1000.

The third prize is a Superfoto printing voucher for R500. All the prizes are sponsored by Kodak Express Superfoto in Paarl Mall.

To enter, print your favourite 10 x 15cm photo and write your name, telephone number, e-mail address, as well as the date and place where the picture was taken on the back of the picture.

Deliver it to Paarl Post in New Street or to Kodak Express Superfoto in Paarl Mall or post it to PO Box 409, Paarl, 7620.

Alternatively, send an email with a digital version (between 200 Kb and 1 Mb) with the personal information required to edit@paarlpost.co.za. Each entry must be on a separate email.

No individual will be allowed to win more than once in the competition.

Every- one is urged to make use of this opportunity to discover the joys of photography, while standing the chance to win wonderful prizes.
