THE Western Cape Canoe Union K1 (single) and K2 (doubles) sprint championships over 200 m, 500 m and 1000 m, will be held this coming Saturday, 14 April, at the Paarl Canoe Club. The racing starts at 09:00.

Entries for the events are by pre-booking through the WCCU website - www.wpcanoe.org.za. Only pre-booked entries will be accepted. On 17 April and starting at 18:15 at the Peninsula Canoe Club, Zandvlei, Lakeside, the WCCU 10 000 m K2 (single canoe) Championships will be held. Entries can be made at the PCC club prior to that event.
